I stopped to visit the park while driving along I-65, because I have a close familial relationship and interest to Crockett lore.
The park, itself, is gorgeous and I will return when I have more time to explore. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. Aside from the picturesque, majestic riverfront views, the staff was exceedingly friendly and courteous. The food is primarily buffet style dining, but it is not cafeteria food.
The fried chicken is exceptional. The mashed potatoes divine. The navy beans served with fatback is the definition of southern cultural food. The peach cobbler was great, and I also enjoyed a wonderful glass of Tennessee Cynthiana red wine with my meal, distilled from one of the oldest grape varieties in a North America. It's flavor was wild and enjoyable, just like the scenery in the park.
I have dined at far more expensive and exclusive establishments, but few such humble places, such as this warrant five stars. I think Crockett would feel at home here and do I give a whole-hearted 5/5. -

Went to Crockett's Mill Restaurant to have a nice Sunday Brunch Buffet. 12 friends and family in tow. Arrived at 10:00 an only to be told they are closed from 10 am- 11 am .
Waste of time and much disappointment. Their website says nothing except full days hours. We were not allowed to even order off the menu.
I suggest if you want to visit don't waste your gas and time just arriving during their business hours advertised because Surprise!!! They may be closed!!! Call first. Can't rate the food but the experience SUCKED!!! -

My husband and I went there for breakfast this morning after church and was very disappointed. We arrived around 9:30 a.m. and decided to have their buffet. There was absolutely nothing on it.No eggs, very little hash brown casserole, little gravey, fruit, bisquits. You get the picture. We stood at the buffet for about 8 minutes and I told my husband to go ahead and take the eggs that were there. No one even came over to say that they would have anything ready or when.I asked our waitress what time they opened and she said 7:30 a.m..There were only 10 patrons in there at that time,so not enough to have eaten the whole buffet. This was definitely not a buffet that was worth $22.00. If you are going to provide a buffet, you should certainly be able to keep food on it.Not a good experience and will not return.

To start, I am a fan of buffets. Went there last Friday night and the buffet was stuffed with catfish and shrimp. The salad bar was fresh and fully stocked. Service was second to none. I am a local and frequent this restaurant. I have never been disappointed. The restaurant is newly remodeled and has an outside area for pets to play while you eat. The view is amazing. We were able to see the lake and lots of wildlife all from our table. Breakfast buffet on the weekends is my favorite. Give it a try. I highly recommend.

What a nice find! Hard to find a good place for breakfast in Lawrenceburg but my wife knew about Dave Crocket park
This is a park restaurant. Don't be dissuaded. It's in a lovely area with great views. For breakfast they had a buffet and menu. We chose the buffet and really enjoyed it. A unique item: Chocolate gravy.... it was great!
Jennifer served us and was fantastic; would definitely recommend.
Relaxing, good food, great views and great people. Awesome!
Do check hours although yelp had the right hours.
Also keep in mind that they are a little seasonal and close from around 12/19 to 1/13 so if you're coming around the , call them first.
Can't wait to come back!
